The interior was dark, with black used everywhere (it even had black 'wood' inserts) it had a quality feel, especially with the chrome-bezelled instruments that were lifted from the 406 coupe. The seats were resonably comfortable, although they could have done with more support & a centre arm-rest would have been nice.

From the rear it's uncluttered and svelte, but from side-on there's a little bit of the Ferrari 456 and more than a hint of latter-day Holden Monaro. In the end it doesn't matter who was looking over whose shoulder when the design was first drawn, because the 406 coupe speaks for itself.
